Overnight oats

Since having kids, morning routines look a lot different. No more waking up (at a decent time) & enjoying a cup of coffee before a workout session and getting dressed...No, most mornings are chaotic trying to get everyone dressed, fed and out the door. That's why we love this recipe so much-it is easy, nutritious and you prepare it the night before. Added bonus: The kids love it too.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 tbs chia seeds
  • 1 cup strawberries & rasberries 
  • 1 cup almond or coconut milk
  • Zest & juice of half a lemon
  • 2 tsp rice malt syrup
  • Nuts & berries for topping

Method:

Add all the ingredients to a mason jar and give it a good shake. Leave the jar in the fridge overnight & enjoy the next morning with your favourite toppings.
