Smoothie bowls are not only delicious & nutritious, but they are visually appealing and create an appetite.
Breakfast is The most important meal of the day and if consumed in balance it should stabilise your blood sugar levels & satisfy your hunger until your next meal & mid-morning snack.
Smoothie bowls are the perfect refreshing breakfast and make the ideal snack (on the go).
You can choose what you wish to add, but here is our favourite combo this Summer:
- 1 cup oats
- 1 tbsp Maca powder
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- Fresh fruit for topping
Blitz the oats in the blender first until fine & add in all the other ingredients. Blend until smooth & top with your favourite seasonal fruit. I like adding nuts and goji berries too.
